IMPACT Mason County — 100 Women Who Care follows the giving-circle model: members pool individual contributions at each event and direct the combined total to a single local organization. Turning Pointe's Executive Director will speak about the advocacy center's work in Mason County before the group makes its gift. The evening runs a tight hour at the Shelton Yacht Club on East Pine Street, with drinks and appetizers served throughout. Twenty-nine people have already responded and the organizers are openly recruiting — the whole point is gathering as many participants as possible to raise the total.
