The Mason County Overdose Awareness and Resource Page organizes both this Belfair gathering and a second identical event the following evening, Friday August 28, at Kneeland Park in Shelton. The schedule runs the same on both days: resource fair from 3:00 to 5:15, raffles and a youth performance at 5:15, speeches at 5:45, a moment of silence, and the walk beginning around 6:05. Educational materials and raffle prizes are available while supplies last. Families who would like a loved one remembered can message the organizers through their Facebook page ahead of time. Nearly 180 people have already responded.
