Organized by the Tacoma Astronomical Society — a nonprofit dedicated to fostering an understanding of astronomy in the Pacific Northwest — the Belfair Star Party kicks off at 9 PM with star-talk and hands-on activities. Telescopes are set up and available for public viewing as darkness falls, subject to clear skies. Pierce College Science Dome Ambassadors join to provide educational context and engage visitors of all ages. No registration is required — just show up, look up, and enjoy the show.
