El Sarape Cantina on Railroad Avenue hosts Traveling Artist for two hours of guided painting on the second Tuesday of every month. Participants work through a single project together and leave with the finished canvas, with no prior artistic experience assumed or needed. Drinks and food are available for purchase from the cantina kitchen and bar throughout the session. The event tends to draw a mix of friend groups and couples, and spots are handled through the event listing rather than at the door.
