The USATF-certified and sanctioned race benefits local nonprofit organizations and draws runners of all levels to small-town Quilcene for a morning on quiet peninsula roads. Registration includes a finisher medal, a serving of oysters, and one adult beverage for participants 21 and over, plus plenty of volunteer support along the course. The event wraps with a post-race party in the park, and sign-up is handled through the race's own website.
