Now in its 8th year, the Lake Cushman Firecracker 5K Fun Run & Cornhole Tournament takes place on July 4 starting at 9 AM at 160 N Potlatch Dr, Hoodsport, organized by the Mt. Rose Division homeowners group. The event welcomes friends, family, neighbors, and visitors to the Lake Cushman community for a full day of patriotic celebration running through 4 PM. Registration details and entry fees are available through the Facebook event page. It's a scenic, friendly course through one of the most beautiful lake communities in the Hood Canal watershed.
