ADDRESS Faith Shelton, 1212 Connection Street, Shelton, WA

DESCRIPTION The Great Bend Center for Music presents the final program of their 2025–26 season at Faith Shelton. The concert weaves together three works into a single moving narrative on hospitality, identity, and belonging. The program opens with Samuel Barber's Agnus Dei, a choral adaptation of his Adagio for Strings. The second work, Andrey Stolyarov's Out of the Depths, draws from Psalm 130 as a meditation on mercy and hope. The program concludes with John Muehleisen's Borders, an American prize-winning cantata commissioned by Great Bend for their 2019 Carnegie Hall debut, blending traditional Salish welcome with global folk melodies and poetry from Emma Lazarus, Brian Bilston, and Alberto Ríos. Tickets available through Great Bend Center for Music.
