Mason County Public Health hosts a hands-on day focused on bike and helmet safety for kids and families. Attendees can meet local firefighters and police officers, explore fire trucks and patrol cars, and learn CPR. Stations cover water and lifejacket safety, wildland fire prevention, and electrical safety with PUD 3. A highlight of the day is a helicopter takeoff and landing, with a chance to explore the helicopter and meet its crew. Seattle Children's will share information on safe firearm storage, along with other safety resources throughout the event.
