Tours depart from Hood Canal Adventures on Hwy 101 North in Brinnon, with all kayaks and safety equipment included. Your guide coaches everyone on how to activate the bioluminescence by splashing and agitating the water — the more movement, the more it glows. Along the way you may also encounter moonlit paddling, meteor showers, and nighttime wildlife including bats, herons, and harbor seals. The tour is appropriate for children ages 7 and older, and advance tickets are strongly recommended as summer weekend tours sell out quickly.
