"Hidden in Hood Canal" is part of Washington State Parks' interpretive ranger program series, offered at Potlatch State Park on Memorial Day. The evening presentation covers the ecology of Hood Canal's unique fjord environment and the remarkable diversity of marine species that live in its cold, oxygen-rich waters. The program is free with a Discover Pass (or standard day-use fee) and appropriate for all ages — no diving experience or prior knowledge required. Potlatch State Park sits directly on the Hood Canal waterfront with a boat launch, picnic areas, and camping available on site.
