The Local Author Showcase at St. Germain's Church in Hoodsport brings together more than 20 regional writers for an afternoon of readings and conversation. Each author presents an excerpt from their work, followed by a Q&A session where attendees can ask about inspiration, past and upcoming works, and the writing process. Genres represented include children's books, historical novels, mysteries, spiritual thrillers, firefighting narratives, urban fantasy, fiction, and nonfiction. The event is free and open to the public.
