Mason Conservation District, the Shelton Family YMCA, Hope Plaza Youth, Mason County Climate Justice, and Shelton Veterans Village are hosting a free Earth Day Celebration across several Shelton locations. Service projects run from 9am to noon along the Huff 'N' Puff Trail and at Shelton Veterans Village, with a free Mason Transit shuttle between sites until 12:30pm. Starting at 10am, activities and community engagement continue outside the YMCA through 3pm. Hope Plaza's Youth Resource Fair runs inside the YMCA from 10am to 1pm. Mason County Climate Justice will be outside the future YMCA Community Garden space giving away free fruit trees and native plants (one per family, while supplies last) and hosting a nature print station. Free community day activities are also available inside the YMCA throughout the afternoon.
