The 2026 Forest Festival Season Launch: Legends of the Timber marks the official kickoff to the upcoming year for the Mason County Forest Festival. Held at the Performing Arts Center at Shelton High School, this public event brings the community together to celebrate tradition, youth leadership, and the start of festival season.

The evening will introduce the 2026 Forest Festival Scholarship Contestants and reveal the winning button category and overall button artwork design for the year. Guests will also see the selection and crowning of the 2026 Junior Royalty, followed by the announcement and crowning of the 2026 Royalty Court and Scholarship Recipients.
