Dream Maker Creative is hosting a hands-on eco-printing workshop at Olympic College Shelton, introducing participants to the art of botanical dyeing using natural leaves and flowers. This class explores the materials, methods, and basic science behind eco-printing while encouraging experimentation with pattern and color.
Each participant will create two finished pieces: a long silk scarf and a large cotton bandana. Working with both fabrics allows guests to see how different fibers absorb color and react to natural dyes.
All materials are provided, and no prior experience is required. Participants are asked not to bring their own fabrics, as proper preparation is part of the learning process and will be covered for future projects.
This workshop is a good fit for anyone interested in natural art processes, sustainable creativity, or trying something new in a relaxed classroom setting.
