Guide Jerry Novak leads the two-and-a-half to three-hour walking tour, covering identification of edible and non-edible species, sustainable harvesting practice, the rules that apply on public land, and how to make a spore print. Bring a harvesting basket or buy one in the shop on the way out. The tour runs on selected dates from October into early December, and private tours can be arranged for groups of six or more.
