The Shuck & Share 5K Run organizes this walk/run event to benefit Project Share, a local program that helps cover electricity costs for households in need. Registration costs $25 per person for participants aged 15 and up, with sign-ups handled through RunSignUp in advance of race day. The course starts at 8 a.m. near the Huff 'N Puff Trailhead in Shelton, timed to coincide with the opening of Oysterfest weekend. Both walkers and runners are welcome to take part at their own pace.
