Admission: $5 individual / $20 family suggested donation
The South Mason Fire & Rescue Firefighters Association, a nonprofit operating under the fire district, runs this two-hour family evening at the Arcadia Road station. The lineup includes fall games and activities, donuts-on-a-string, glow bingo, decorated booths, apple cider and fall treats, a costume contest, and the run of the fire station itself. Donations are suggested rather than required, at five dollars for an individual pass or twenty for a family, and the money goes back into the association's community programs. Activities are pitched at all ages, so it works as well for grandparents as for grade-schoolers.
