Description: Beast of Big Creek returns to the steep trails of Mount Elinor on the Olympic Peninsula for its 18th year. Last year, the event joined the Merrell Skyrunner World Series, drawing elite mountain runners from around the globe to the Pacific Northwest. Two race options are available: the Skyrace (24km/15mi, 5,300 ft gain) on Saturday, and the Forest Loop (15km/9mi, 1,200 ft gain) on Sunday. Both races take place on Mount Elinor above Lake Cushman.
