Hama Hama Oyster Rama

Celebrate the tideflats! We're welcoming the public to our beach to learn about oysters, oyster farming, and life in the Hood Canal, aquatic and other. We call this beach festival the Hama Hama Oyster Rama. It's not the biggest party in the world, but it might be the biggest subtidal one!

The Rama features tours with intertidal ecologists and oyster growers, u-pick oysters and clams, an oyster-sports competition we call the Shuckathalon, beer and wine, kid's activities, live music, and various delicious food options. Every year, the Rama benefits local Hood Canal charities.

This will be the first Oyster Rama since 2019 - read below for more information about how the event has changed (or not!).

Tickets are needed for everybody 16 and up (this means folks 15 and under get in free). Tickets get you into the event and entered into a door prize drawing
