Grapeview, Washington

Grapeview Info & Links

South of Allyn, take the Grapeview Loop Road off State Route 3 for a pleasant tour of the community of Grapeview. Grapeview is a peaceful and serene Puget Sound waterfront community, and the location of the first vineyards and winery in the Pacific Northwest. The old St. Charles Winery on Stretch Island now houses the Maritime Museum of Puget Sound, an outstanding maritime museum that is open by appointment. The local Island Belle strain of grape is still bottled under that name by Hoodsport Winery.

Along the eight-mile Grapeview Loop you can also access Treasure Island by means of its quaint, one-lane wooden bridge. Across from Treasure Island is Fair Harbor Marina, which has undergone extensive renovations in the past several years, including a new store and espresso stand, and a beautiful outdoor pavilion. The marina provides up to 350 feet of spacious guest moorage that can accommodate boats up to 120 feet.
