Sourdough Bread Workshop

  • 2246 North 13th Street Shelton, WA, 98584 United States (map)

Dream Maker Creative and Olympic College Continuing Ed host a hands-on Sourdough Bread Workshop designed for anyone who wants to learn the basics and start baking at home. The class covers the full process—creating and maintaining a sourdough starter, tools and equipment, ingredients, prep, baking, and troubleshooting—so students leave with a clear, repeatable method.

Participants will sample a variety of fresh sourdough loaves to compare flavor and texture, then mix, prep, and shape their own dough to take home and bake the following day. The class fee includes a jar of sourdough starter, a proofing basket to keep, plus written instructions and recipes.
