For generations Hood Canal has been the getaway destination of Seattle and Portland families, perching summer cabins on the banks of the Canal or high in the Olympics.
While much has changed in the big cities, the tide still comes in an out on the Hood and the pace slows down as you meander along Hwy 101 embracing the curves of the Canal. Check out these great lodging options and find your place on Hood Canal.
Moonlight Resort Suites & Sleeps
The newly refurbished four suite accommodations, located just north of Hoodsport. Each suite hosts equipped kitchenettes/kitchens, comfortable beds, and updated bathrooms. There is a firepit and chairs to enjoy a cozy bonfire.
Sunrise Resort and Motel
The Sunrise Resort & Motel is located centrally in Hoodsport on the north end of town. The rooms features waterfront views, outdoor seating, en suite baths, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, flat screen TV with streaming movies, high speed internet access, and include use of resort amenities including the waterfront hot tub, lounging, picnic areas, and BBQs.
Many of the rooms are recently remodeled and updated and the resort added a new waterfront cabin this winter.
Belfair Motel
Less than a mile from waterfront parks and preserves, clean and comfortable Belfair Motel makes a great home base to start your Hood Canal adventures. This recently remodeled motel offers free Wi-Fi and is cenrtally located to dining, shopping and other Belfair attractions. The office is open daily from 9 AM - 10 PM. Each room is equipped with coffee machine, microwave, fridge, AC, shower/tub combo, TV, free WIFI and some have small kitchens for longer stays. Pet friendly ($10).
