A Jazz Age Gala To Die For!

  • Alderbrook Resort and Spa Union Wa (map)

To celebrate their upcoming trip to perform at Carnegie Hall, the Great Bend Center for Music will be turning Alderbrook Resort’s ballroom into a supper-club speakeasy known for its entertainment - and MURDER!
In addition to live music, three courses prepared by Alderbrook Resort’s spectacular culinary team, and cash bar, the evening will also feature an array of casino games, a small silent auction, and a raffle to win a trip for two to join us in New York City for the Great Bend Chorale and Youth Chorale’s Carnegie Hall premiere, Friday, May 24, 2019 (the Friday of Memorial Day weekend).

All proceeds for the evening will support that trip, and the Great Bend Center for Music’s community programs (such as January’s free Peter & the Wolf performances at the Shelton High School Performing Arts Center for 1,200+ local elementary school students).

Tickets are $99 and include all three courses and no-host bar.

We’re encouraging costume formal attire in 1920s Great Gatsby style. You can find some great ideas in this terrific article, but note that formal options will be more in line with the characters and narrative of the evening’s murder mystery. We will be presenting awards for Best Dressed Female, Male and Couple at the end of the evening!

Located on the Great Bend of Hood Canal, in the historic arts town of Union, Washington, the Great Bend Center for Music delivers research-based music programs for rural communities.

Tickets $99
