Perhaps the best shopping in the Hood Canal region comes to those who meander through the small towns and villages, stopping to explore the quaint galleries and shops en route. All of the main roadways, including State Route 3, State Route 106, and US Highway 101 sport specialty stores featuring Hood Canal souvenirs and apparel, local art, authentic chainsaw carvings, fishing tackle, outdoor gear and more.

Visitors to downtown Shelton will find many retail shops with picturesque charm that echoes the area's history. Grocery superstores, department stores, and standard retail shops can also be found in Shelton and Belfair.
