The Eagle Creek Guest House

This 2 ½ bath, 4 bedroom house is situated on the historic Eagle Creek Ranch, first settled by the current owners’ grandfather in 1888. The property is managed as a working tree farm, with 140 acres of forests, threaded by trails that make for unlimited walking. There are many species of birds to be seen and heard, from pileated woodpeckers to owls, eagles, flickers, and tiny winter wrens. This secluded house is well placed for easy access to day hikes up Mt. Ellinor, Staircase, the upper Hamma Hamma, or the Big Quil. If scuba diving is your interest, Octopus Hole is 4 miles away, and Mike’s Beach Resort 7 miles. Golfers will enjoy proximity to Alderbrook and Lake Cushman Golf Courses.

The house is located a half mile from the shoreline and Higway 101, up the Eagle Creek County Road behind the Eagle Creek Saloon. It is 2.5 miles north of Lilliwaup, a tiny town located along scenic Hood Canal. Visitors can take advantage of the public tide flats located at the end of the road, at the mouth of Eagle Creek. House amenities include a gas fireplace, well-equipped full kitchen, garage with room to hang scuba gear, satellite television, ample parking, deck with barbecue and fire pit, back yard with room for a tent, and privacy. And silence!

We cater to groups of 6 to 8, and families are welcome. No pets, please, and no smoking in the house. Family getaways and reunions, quilter’s retreats, overflow wedding housing, or a quite weekend for a single person or a couple…this house can fit into any plan.
