Lake to Summit

Get ready for an exhilarating day. Enjoy early morning fishing from the many rocky coves on the shores of Lake Cushman, nestled at the base of the Olympic Mountains.

When the fish are done biting, head on up the road to the Mt. Elinor trailhead. This 3-mile hike to the 5944-foot summit leaves you with breathtaking views of Hood Canal, the Olympic Mountains, and the distant Cascade Range.

On your way home, enjoy a cup of chowder or a slice of homemade pie at any of the local eateries along scenic Highway 101.
