Restoration of the McReavy House

  • McReavy House 10 E 2nd Street Union, WA 98592 (map)

The Mason County Historical Society will be hosting a program on the history of the McReavy house in Union, WA on Saturday October 22nd, 2:00 pm. The McReavy house, built in 1890 in Union, is purportedly the oldest standing structure along Hood Canal. The home has been vacant since the daughter and son in law of John McReavy died within a year of each other in 1969 and 1970.  Some claim that the abandoned Mansion is haunted. Haunted or not, the home remains part of the earliest history of Union, WA.

Please come out to hear guest speaker Jayni Kamin the new President of the McReavy house board speak about the history of the Mcreavy house and the current efforts to restore this Union landmark.

Coffee will be available.
