Belfair State Park continues its rehabilitation into this spring. Simultanious projects relating to Hood Canal Clean-Up, Esturary rehabilitation and Storm clean up from December.
Over the last 18 months the park has had a major face lift to the water front. Rip rap was removed and replaced with beach gravel. Plumb point was returned to a more natural state as well as the removal of the old swim pond that had outlived its usefullness.
Septic system upgrades will be completed this spring along with renovations being made to domestic water systems this summer or fall.
New playground equipment destroyed during winters floods should be replaced by fall as well.
