The answer is no. Everyone is gearing up for the Canoe Journey!
For the last two weeks, the Canoe Family at the Squaxin Island Tribe, has been busy preparing for the Canoe Journey.
There is much to be done, as you can imagine, to support the pullers. They must have a support boats, cooks need to be hired. Cold Water Training. Discussions about safety.
I will try to keep this site up to date as the Canoe Families Journey to the Lummi Indian Reservation. Let me know if you are interested.

By the way, they leave on Saturday, July 21st.

The Squaxin Island Canoe Family left on Saturday to paddle to Lummi (near Bellingham) from Puget Sound while the SkokomishTribe left from Hood Canal.
