Open by appointment, you can stop by and witness the rhythmic ringing of a master blacksmith's hammer at the Old Cedar Forge Gallery and Gifts, located just off Grapeview Loop Road, two miles south of Allyn.

The authentic, cedar-sided blacksmith's forge is home to artist and blacksmith Jerry Culberson, who has bent and molded iron for over 25 years, using an anvil and various hammers in tandem with his 2400-degree forge fire.

Finished products include ornate candle holders, kitchen pot racks and fireplace tools.

Visitors are asked to call first to inquire about tours and demonstrations.
